Need a fast response please!
I am getting ready to order my oil pump. I am between the Melling High flow LS1/6 or the Lingenfelter High flow pump. I will be running LS2 timing chain/sprockets (single). I don't want to mod anything for it to fit, and I don't want to starve the engine in hard corning by running the pump dry. Which is the best pump?

Thanks, but the price is horrible compared to ebay, can get both melling/lingenfelter $100 shipped to the door and they flow more then LS6 ported. Thanks for the reply tho, should have said that in first post.

I went Lingenfelter, called them up and explained my build. Pump was $101 to the door with two o-rings and stock spring. They told me, alot of people autocross with them so starving the pump in my case is not going to happen. And no grinding of the timing cover like I have heard with Mellings. Then with a search I found Sarge runs one and likes it. My build, parts are 75% purchased Shady
LS6 P&P (milled) heads
Torquer V2
LS7 lifters
LS2 lifter trays
LS2 timing chain
Hardened pushrods
Lingenfelter Oil Pump
Other odds and ends

The o-rings that if pinched equals disaster for the motor ie oil pressure. Your not suppose to re-use them, and for $4 they are extremely cheap insurance. I get 2 for some reason. I guess if you wreck one, you have another back up.

Seriously^. I pinched my first one, but took the pump back off before I re-assembled engine. That would suck major ass to have to take it apart again for a a damned o-ring. Be careful when installing it. Drop the pan as far as you can.

My engines coming out for this build so my oil pan is coming all the way off. Can't wait I'm getting very impatient, haven't driven the car in over 6 months. Don't remember what horsepower feels like
