    1998 camaro

    need build help

    ok guy's this is what i have please let me know if this setup is compatable
    06 lq4 stock lq4 bottom end
    ls1 hot cam p/n 12480033
    l92 heads stock no port
    ls3 intake
    ls1 oil pan
    ls1 windage
    ls1 pickup
    i also want to run a t-56 is there anything i will need to mate that trans with the lq4.will i have any clearence issues with vavles with that cam and the ls3 intake is the one that i need right? btw going into a 98 f-body thanks jeb houston texas

    If the car was already a M6 car the tranny will be a direct bolt in.

    With L92 heads I would definitely run another cam. With more cubes I would go to something bigger. Go to the Gen IV boards and research what has worked. A big split like that seems to work well but I would go more duration and the .525 lift is VERY mild IMO. Take advantage of the good flowing heads you have and move some more air!!!

    Yeah Im Just starting out I really need to prove something but i dont have all that much money haha but any help would help guys.

    Yeah, i would sell that cam and get you a custom cam built, those particular heads will really wake up when up have a cam that is designed to work with them.

    Get in touch with Pat G. He seems to have spec'd out some great cams for those L92 heads.

    I agree, he spec'd one out for us for a 408 build and it worked our perfectly.
