Ms4 cam
What valve spring and pushrods would i need to buy with a magic stick 4 cam...Its going in a 1998 camaro z28 with 131000 miles... gonna try to make it a daily driver...if you know anything about what i need please post what you know...thanks

rods id say hardend stocker from TSP, for springs i like the PRC Duals for springs

i put the ms4 im my car with 109k on it and the only thing i changed was the cam and springs and have never had a problem..i would also suggest the tsp springs thats good for .675.....

awesome cam choice ....i have it an love it...u should get hardend push rods an dual springs from tsp go with the 6.75 only 50 bucks more..i would change the lifters i love the ls7 ones valvetrain noise is barly there with them..an a ls6 oil pump an ls2 chain..u will be at stock pushrod length if ur not touching ur heads....i got heads also an had to measure came to be 7.450 for the tsp prc 215 heads..hope it helped goodluck...oh yea get a damn good tune for that cam it will make a big differents in driveablitly

ok this was the cam i was going to go with and have seen a lot of people running them what does it do that makes it not so street able is it just because its a big cam or what? my car wont be a DD but it will be driven on the street a majority of the time

IMO it is streetable i dont really know why people say its not i have the ms4 like i said an love it...sometimes it bucks a lil an surges but its not hard to drive...lol

you got to be kidding me right..dude my grandma could drive my car with the ms4 cam..lol its not fuckin bad i hate when people knock shit thats never had it...an really dont know what they are talkin bout...ur wrong bout the cam bro...quit looking at the numbers an size an find someone with one an drive it...an lets see if u have the same answer...

thanks again for replying everyone...i found out from a friend that the ms4 was to big for the flow of a 98 camaros stock heads or thats what they told me anyway...if you have any idea about that plaese reply...They are the same heads that came on the car from the factory for all 98 z28s

go to TSP website and look at the different cam kits they offer.you can talk to the guys a TSP and they help you find the right cam.

Never had any surging problems with mine and I drive it everyday to work that it isn't raining. But that problems more of a MT in the rain than a MS4 in a daily driver. I think the MS4 is more street friendly in an A4 car than it is in a M6. But the people I see surging have never met my tuner. I even ran my car with 2.73s in it for 6 months with no troubles.

My cam is a 230/230 .612/.598 111+3 and it surges...
If I would of known that, i would of just went with the MS4
