Most Effective Heads/Cam swap

hello everyone im new to the site so bear with me lol....i drive a 1988 monte carlo SS with an LS2 in it n as for heads im running LS6 ported heads and for a cam i am running a custom grind Vengeance Racing Comp Cam....i dont know exact specs at this time but i do no that it is a .609 lift n i had the car dynoed at Speed Inc Speed shop in Schaumburg, IL n the car put down 400rwhp and about 390rwtq....i feel like theres gota be some better swap i can get better power out of n my intentions for this car is a daily summer cruiser and some track runs as well....any suggestions plzz...would be greatly appreciated

With the 4" bore of the LS2, it opens up quite a few great choices. Whats your budget? That's the biggest question really.

AFR, ETP, TFS/TEA are all great heads and depending on who ported your 243 LS6 heads, would show an increase in power. Thought of a Procharger, maybe a cheaper cheap swap?

Without specs on the camshaft, its hard to say if you would gain any power from swapping, or if it would be putting the power where you don't want it. Check into those heads listed, they are pricey but all performers.
