"The Mongoose" puts down 447 rwhp and 431 rwtq
Just swapped out cams, and it made a world of difference. The car put down 447 rwhp and 431 rwtq. I will also add that this was with a bone stock LS6 intake and a stock/unported TB.
Mods:
Advanced Induction Dart/RHS 223cc CNC'd heads (11:1 compression)
Custom Cam Motion cam: 232/238 111 LSA
Speed Engineering 1 7/8" headers
Texas Speed True Duals w/ SLP Loudmouth 1 resonators
Accel 44lb/hr injectors
LS6 intake and unported TB
I'm very happy with those numbers. The car feels so much stronger than it did with the old cam (Tick SNS Torque Max Stage 2 "227/235 110 LSA"). The new cam also pulls so much further in the RPM band than the old cam, as the old cam fell of at 5,800 RPM's. I will be adding a FAST 90mm intake/92mm TB here soon. I will port the FAST 90mm intake out to 92mm and port match the runners to the heads. Here is the dyno graph.

Nice numbers.

Right on. I'm hoping to push somewhere around there when I'm "done" with mine. I'm also thinking about doing a FAST 92mm.

I just purchased a used FAST 90mm intake today. I will port out the inlet to 92mm and then port the runners. I'm also going to paint it. Not sure if I want to paint it black and do the lettering in pewter, or paint the intake pewter and do the lettering in black.
