    Moisture on oil cap

My buddy took off my oil cap yesterday when I was working on my headlight motor, just messing around. He found what looked like water or moisture on it. Is this bad, because it freaked me out a little bit. Someone told me it was penzoil oil because it was all sludgy looking. I'm going to go change the oil today since it needs it anyways. Give me some info, BAD, or nothing to worry about. It is still running fine.

The engine needs to reach full operating temp. to "burn off" moisture which is normal so if you are seeing moisture your trips may be too short or your engine temp. is too low to burn off the moisture. I would not believe the pennzoil oil stories causing your problem, maybe your stat. is too low.

if it's sat a bunch or hasn't gotten up to operating temps a time or two it'll have a little moisture on the cap.....normal. What does the oil on the stick look like when you pull it?
