Marvel Mystery Oil in Gas/Oil in the LS1

Its the age old question of additives in oil and gas but I wanted to know from any other LS1 owners whether marvel is good, and it there are any problems with it. I have a 2000 z28 with 98k on it and the engine runs strong and the valves are very clean but I would like to know if it has any long term restorative power for injectors and such. Also how much to add to the gas and oil respectively? thanks.

if it has the word "mystery" in the name, i don't know how keen i'd be to putting in my car

I did this on advice from Sarge (Our resident guru for anything that has oil in it). Run it for 1000 miles, drained, had alot of chit come out, oil was darker than I thought. I believe it was all the sluge and other bs that MMO cleaned up. I put in Mobile 1 after. She's running like a champ.

i assume that is for the oil. how much did you put in? did you use any for the gas?

2-cycle, (in your gas) you'll have to hit up Sarge for the ratio and type...

Marine 2 stroke. TC-W3 rating. He had Pennzoil mentioned, but said any brand would work as long as it was TC-W3 Marine 2 stroke.
The ratio had a range of 1 ounce added to either 4 or 5 gallons, depending on the specific vehicle using it.

all my personal vehicles, for the last fiftheen years i can honesty say i have only used mobile one full synthetic oil, with one full bottle on lucus oil additive. on every oil change..always! as for fuel, just use a bottle of injector cleaner now and then. whatever brand is the cheapest, and use it on every four fill ups.. any more than that, and your wasting your $......

mobile one is the best, ive torn down my friends lt1 with 237,000 miles on it, and mobile was the only oil ever used in the car! ever, and the intake valley, oil pan, heads, oil pick up had zero sludge or build up. it literally looked like it was brand new....we were shocked, it didnt even have a brown coloring inside i swear. buy the good shit, dont bitch out!
