Daily driver? Pretty big cam there. For a weekend toy/drag car I'd use it, for daily driver I'd prolly go smaller. I'd do a search for "ms3" over on ls1tech.com, literally like 270ish pages of info will pop up.

No amount of tuning will eliminate cam surge tho.

you can tune the car to be streetable though
for instance my car and my buddies ws6 with the ms3 will idle perfectly in traffic and dont act to stupid i mean there is a sacrifice but if tuned correctly it is easily lived with

It's a daily driver and a weekend racer now. next year she will be paid off and plan on getting a fuel efficent daily driver. I can live with rough idle as long as it don't stall out. I plan on doing the cam late winter/ early spring. What 1/4 mile times should I expect? right now the best was 12.57 at 109mph

Getting the car to idle is not what I mean by cam surge, talking about the bucking at low rpms. Not sure how that affects autos tho. As for track times can easily hit low/flat 11s with mild weight reduction and the right stall, gears, and tires.
