LSX blocks fit under stock hood? Fit an old LT1
Picked up a GMHTP mag recently and was reading up on the LSX block. Now I'm a little behind on the times here but I was just curious if you could put a LSX block in with a stock LT1 Firehawk hood.
Also, would a T56 from an LT1 be able to be used with the LS blocks?
Thanx

I think the input shaft on the trans might be different.

If the base of the trans body is the same, then all that will need to be done on an M6 tranny is to swap bell housings and maybey input shafts, one you do that the hydrolic system is easy as I doubt much really changed between the LT1 and LS1 in that regard.
