that is kinda weak for a 427ci. I cant wait to see one with a decent cam in it. I bet it is a beast. Kinda surprising how much smaller the intake side is. Any idea on what the LSA is?

i cant recall. i wanna say like a 116 or lower but i dont remember.

i havent personally seen a cammed ls7 but i read about one and a healthy cam produced something like 50 more horse. it wasnt a big cam at all, especially for those cubes.

I would like to see some numbers from a cam in the 240 range on duration with a 112 or 114 LSA

With a head that flows as much air as the ls7, you do not need as much duration to make power. As far as the LSA, you have to be careful of that because that head is subject to the exhaust gas polluting the intake charge, AKA reversion. A good cam for an engien with ls7 heads will have a large split(exhaust bias) and a relatively wide LSA.

    think like 220/244 on a 116
or 232/258 on a 115+3 or something similiar..
