LS6 heads/cam swap how much power
I have a 01 Z28, I bought the 02 LS6 243 heads and ZO6 cam. My car dynoed 325 with MTI Lid, Free mods, filter, HPP3, and a flowcrapper muffler through stock pipes and manifolds.
How much increase in HP/TQ can I expect after the install and a tune.
Also, I may go to LTs and catted y with Hooker cat back, how much increase if I go that route?

if you do everything expect to see about fifty to seventy five HP increase.....it would be more if you got a better cam and also changed the intake but I would say it would probably be closer to fifty to sixty but depending on tune possibly up to 400rwhp total.

It's a sneeky sleeping 370-380 RWHP if you add the exhaust to the z06 heads and cam. Saw another guy do this on another forum and he was in that range. He had about 350RWHP with the stock exhaust which is about on the nose of the 405HP raiting at the fly of the ls6 egnine

Are you talking about stock heads and cam? I think you'll get only about 40-45 RWHP from that. After adding them you'd have in effect a slightly lower than stock compression ratio LS6 engine with some lite mods: I know that dynos at about 365-370 RWHP in a vette which has a true dual exhaust.
Seems a shame to do the labor for only stock components, so if you will get nicely cnc's heads and use a good aftermarket cam, say something like a Crowler stage II for the LS6, and you ought to get about 60-70 RWHP increase (i.e., another 25 or 30 over the stock). Adding LTs would give you perhaps another 15 but more important would give you a lot of low and mid range torque improvement.

LS6 heads, unmodified, just aren't THAT good . . . why not spend money to get them ported or larger valves put in them
In addition, pay attention to the valve spring and make sure you have the right pushrod length. I would not trust the stock springs and rockers to operate well (i.e., not float at high RPM) with a big cam. They are better than LS1 springs, but not that good.
