LS2/LS6 head comparrision
Have a chance to buy a set of LS2 heads, is the only difference between them and the LS6 the sodium filled valves? Is this anything I should be concerned about? The LS2 are 243 casts......
Thanks in advance

I thought they were the exact same. Valves could be a difference.
I know the castings are the same.

You are correct the difference is in the Valves.
The sodium filled ones are lighter.Craig

Anyone tried the LS2 heads yet? What is the difference in the gains over LS6?

I really expect them to be just about the same or even a little less because of the sodium filled valves. The springs, valve size and castings are the same, from what I understand.
I only went with the LS2 because I found a set of low mile take offs, at a reasonable price. Also I was very comfortable with the seller.
