    ls1 heads

    is it worth it to put ls1 heads on a 5.3 truck.

    i dont know but i here some guys put 5.3 heads on ls1's.

    not really worth it. they would need to be milled quite a bit to get the compression back up

    Guys put the 5.3 heads on LS1s to bump up the compression ratio. Unless you are putting ported heads on, why do you ask?
