LQ9 Block
Where can a find an LQ9 block? Wanting to do a stroker motor. Been playing with my diesel for a while, but it has to be a daily driver so i want to start on something that i can play with and be fast on the street.

Might wanna look into buying a shortblock.
By the time you get crank, rods, piston, rings, machine work, and labor to install(unless you feel confident installing). You will be at the price of an assembled short block.
I see it nickeling and diming you to death unless you do some well thought out research on what all you need.

Blue- 2002 Z28 Camaro M6
I was talking with Late Model Engines in Houston and they quoted me about 1500. 700 for the block alone and the rest was all the machine work and studs that I wanted (included ARP mains and checking the balance of the rotating assembly. Texas speed also sells one for about 700, along with a few of the GM part sites.

Thanks guys. And i'll look into the shortblocks. Building and install will be done by myself and a couple others. I know a performance engine builder so if i'm stuck he knows what to do. And i will get stuck.
