Lower CR heads for blower app,,advise

I have been through the LT1 stage of 383s with superchargers. I have decided to take a different approach this time. The LS1 is fairly new to me. What CC heads are on the car and can I get a higher CC performance head to lower the CR to around 9 to 9.5. What cam would be adviced for a blower application in the LS1(I like a little lop'n too). I plan on using the ATI D1SC 8 rib and throw in an extra little boost since the CR will be a little lower. Just want to play it safe. Broke tooooooomany ring land in the LT1s and I dont feel like pulling the motor just yet or anytime soon. I know many of you have been through the learning process the hard way with the LS1's. Hope you don't mind if I can learn from your experiences.

im not ls1 expert but im pretty sure the lq9 heads off the Escalde will lower your CC decently.

Stock heads are 64cc. AFR has a head that you can get in 66cc or 76cc and will blow away LS6 heads for flow. Go to airflowresearch.com

Getting a set of 6.0L heads will drop your CR to around 9.5
