too vague. give us some goals. what kind of power are you looking to make? under the curve, strictly peak numbers, bump in power while keeping driveability, etc? for the most part, afr's are top notch heads. trickflows are right next to afr. never heard of demon. patriots are cheap and work great but not as efficient as afr's and trickflows for whatever reason. when selecting a cam your best bet would be caling texas speed and talking over what your looking for and they can tell you how well the heads and cam will match up for your goals.

500 hp is achievable, but in a DD or a car with "easy driveability" is gunna make it a bit harder....what other mods do you have and what does drivability mean to you everyone has a s different meaning to it

you wont gett 500whp, driveability, and reliability out of a head/cam ls1 unless the block itself has some work done. your better off getting a 402-408 stroker. it will make close to that power fairly easily on a n/a setup. the 6.0L lq9 will practically drop right in. i think you only need to tap one hole in the block for one of the accessories, other than that everything else swaps right over. the texas stroker cam and some nice flowing heads should get you what you want after the lq9 is stroked out.

assuming you go strictly n/a with the set up, you will not get to 500whp on a stock block unless it has some work done to it. and the stock ls1 block will not be able to get bigger than a 383 on the stock sleeves. and resleeving an aluminum block is far from cost effective. let alone the fact that some 383 ls1's have problems with wrist pins.

You're not going to get 500rwhp out of a stock 346ci. There's only a handfull of cars in the entire world that have done that, and they've got all the best high end components/tuning to make it happen.

A budget cam swap will yield you in the 380-410rwhp zone, and a budget heads/cam will be in the 430-445rwhp range. If you're not looking to spend a lot of money, those are your power ranges. This is also assuming you've already got all the supporting bolt ons (Longtubes, pulley, ported TB, etc).
