I might have read about people going solid rollers. Seems like I read that the knock sensors really don't like a solid roller. You still gonna be at Kil-Kare on Sunday? Not sure what time I'll get there. My cars tune is about 80% done so hopefully I can get it finished before then.

From what I've read and understand about solid rollers, you don't really want them in a car that you drive on the street a whole lot.

What kind of SC setup is it? I would think you would make more power with it than a solid roller, unless you are wanting a high-rpm engine with a big lift cam.

Ah, ok. I'm sure you already know you have to adjust the valves every so often. Hell, I say go for it if your wanting to turn that kind of rpm.

Know of a local guy that had a LQ9 block, etc, etc, he went solid roller, a couple months went by and he got rid of the whole motor completely. He said he was tired of adjusting the valves every other day, im not the smartest when it comes to this particular subject, but from what I understand it wasn't fun to DD.

Yeah, will need an aftermarket intake, if not a sheetmetal one. Not sure about the computer, and will probably need a dry sump.
