Looking to build an all motor street monster

I'm going to be looking to go heads and cam soon and I need advice on which direction to go. I want to be able to daily drive it. My mods so far are QTP Longtubes, ORY, SLP LM2, 4.11 gears, SLP Lid, tune, and a ford tru trac 9" rear end. Anyone have any ideas?

    For street....114.
But the 112 wouldn't be a problem and extend the powerband a little.

I must be one of the few that doesn't always believe bigger is better and doesn't look at just peak numbers, but numbers under the curve as well.

T-rex is the Shit. I DD mine. It makes huge power all around, especially the top end. I went through 3 cams before the rex, but the rex is the best hands down.

    Normally.

That 228R on a 112LSA wouldn't be as choppy for sure.

the trex is built to work better with bigger cubes... its large for the ls1... very extreme... it can be daily driven of course as anything can pretty much. depends on your definition of monster... if you want to scare the pants off a ricer... or have a veryyyy nicely tuned rice killer... the pants scarer would be the trex... and the well tuned machine would be going with curtis on the 228

nope, you're not alone. That's why I went with the 228R on a 114. Good power under the curve with good street manners. I also went with stage 2.5 prc 5.3 heads because everything I read said they flowed really well and I also got the compression bump with them.

I assure you not a single car that you could classify as that is running a 228 duration cam.
