LG G5X4......How Big Do U Really Think It Is
As we all now the spec’s are “secret”, but how big do you really think it is? I know the lsa is a 111 because it said G5X4 @ 111 on the cam itself but what do you think about the lift and the dur. Is it in the same league as the Ms4 and T-rex or do you feel they are much larger cams. Anyone get it measured? I really want to go w/ it, its just these “secret” spec’s holding me back, b/c I wanna go big but I know with this cam you get pretty good drivability and don’t lose much down low at all. So any comments or guess's about it's size?

You know my thoughts on it. Like I said before, lots of people think bigger is better , but when a big cam can't perform down low it's pretty much useless for the street. Just because a company claims their cam starts its power range at 2300rpm or in the T-rex case 3500rpm doesn't mean that's actually it's real power range. Talk to them and ask them where does the cam actually start making its reall power.

According to a guy on another forum the G5x3 is around 234/242 duration. So therefore the x4 has to be close. That's not a garuntee that it is that but even if it is those are pretty good numbers for a street cam that sounds like a drag car. Don't forget you start to loose brake vacumn with the more intake duration you go. I don't feel exhaust duration has that much affect on vacumn loss.
