Leak Down Test, Faulty Header Gasket?

Some time ago I had a leak down test done on my car (currently 28,000 miles), and cylinders 1,3,5,7 were all right around 15% which is good. However, 2,4,6,8 were all 28% and above. Furthermore, the 2,4,6,8 were not all within 10% of each other. So my question, can a faulty header gasket cause this? When I did LT's last summer I installed the passenger side header gasket backwards, torque down the header bolts, let it sit overnight, realized it the next day and corrected the problem. Could this action have deformed the gasket to the point that it is causing significant compression leaks in the affected cylinders (2,4,6,8)? Or would this simply have no effect on the compression?

a header gasket, not possible. It has nothing to do with compression. Its after the exhaust valve.
