I'd be very wary of this offer unless they give you VERY specific information about what cam specs, springs, pushrods, new or old lifters, etc. $499 does not cover a decent set of parts for a cam install, much less labor... You will also need a PCM tune for any cam install, usually $300 plus.
I would ask a lot of questions first.

I am looking at the same motors he is. I am assuming the price is cheap because he is getting a remanufactured longblock and they would have to put one type of cam in it anyway. The labor is already there. I have not contacted them yet so don't now what the specs are or if that includes upgraded springs, but I am guessing so from there web site. The pcm tune will have to be done else where since these are just longblocks. One thing to keep in mind is the longblock has a 3 year warranty if you go with their cam, and I am not sure you would get that with a different cam and installing it yourself. They offer custom grinds on their web site. Justin you should post a link to the web site and see what everyone thinks of this company.

That link will be removed since they are not a sponsor of LS1. Site rules.
I didn't see any cam selections on their site other than "custom grind cams".
If your car is a DD, you don't want to go too big on the cam otherwise the car won't be very street friendly.

Lol 7500 for a 383? And heads add only 5hp more than a cam yet are more than double the price? For $1400 you can but a lot better heads than wut they offer.
