    Question !!!! I Need Help !!!!!

I was at the track making a pass when I notice my oil pressure needle kinda moving funny. I turned the car off and the oil pressure needle stayed at 40psi. When I rev the motor the needle did move but seemed to be reading higher than expected. Can someone explain to me what happened and what I need to do to fix it?

How exactly is it moving funny??

Could just be the sending unit acting up if its very inconsistant with the readings.

It would jump around on the 40psi mark and when I left the needle was reading close to 80 psi but I was only around 2000 rpm.

You do realize that oil pressure does build up when you accelerate. Seems a little high but better to have pressure than none.
