how long are patriot valve springs w/ mild cam

on a daily driver and ocasionally blast down the track (maybe 3 -4 times a year) w/ a mild cam 216-224-551-551-115

?1.how long or miles are patriot double valve springs good for?

?2.how will I know if the half the spring breaks which half? and will the remained of spring prevent engine damage?

    Thanks

You do not need a double spring for that cam. a 918 spring wil be fine for that size cam. You could get 15,000 miles at least. Changing springs every xxxxx miles when you are cammed is more so a peace of mind/prevenative maintanence swap.

Patriot's would be good for a while with that cam.

I run a 248/254 629/622 on XE-R lobes, and will be changing the valvesprings at 16-17K miles.
