How big before piston gets friendly with valves?
How big of a cam can I go in a stock LS1 before the piston gets too friendly with the valves? I was looking at a Thunder Racing Cheatr cam (214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA). This would be my first real mod to the car, so I am a little hesitant. Think I'll be okay?

I would hope it would be ok. I have a couple friends running the T-REX on stock heads (of course beefed up valvetrain) and stock block, and have no clearance issues. numbers are around 242/248 - .608/.612 - 110 lsa for a T-REX.
And if you're curious about it, just call Thunder Racing and ask. They will answer you, honestly.
