    Question help what cam will fit into a stock 02 sswillthis

    what cam can u stick into a stock camaro ss o2...that does not require imediate upgrades? will this package do it please let me know help me learn...some one help with advice.Cam/Lifters/Valvetrain, Hydraulic Flat Tappet, Advertised Duration 287/305, Lift .489/.489, Chevy, Small Block thats what i was looking at will that do it? help

    What is this for? What do you mean... not require immediate upgrades? Like what? Very low lift. Thats stock lift pretty much. Every cam is going to require some upgrades. There is no way around it.

    Where are these duration numbers taken from? .006? Give some more info. Who makes this cam?

    On another note you might want to tell everyone your car has stock manifolds ans is an auto.
    Gains are minimal but if your serious talk to frost about the cam that you can use and get a mail order tune off of him, possibly the cam and springs to. I'm sure one of the sponsors on here would be happy to help w/ your cam choice.

    There is NOT a cam out there that is bigger than stock that the stock valvetrain will handle. PERIOD.

    That cam is for a Small Block Chevy (Gen I) NOT and LS1 (Gen III)
    And Lou's is right on the money, all aftermarket cams will at least require a spring upgrade.
