    help with rings in the 01' ls1

    I had seen something in the past on this site about the rings on the 01 ls1 cars having smaller rings and causing oil blow by. I have noticed that sometimes my car does lose or burn oil. How bad is this and is this a chevy recall? Should I take it to chevy? I have the extended warrranty. Thanks.

    they have low tension oil rings. doubt you'd get any warranty work for it.

    I think this is also an EGR issue change to a vette style.

    the 01 has no EGR. are you thinking about the LS6 PCV valley cover?
