    Help Planning A Build Up ...h/c/i Exhaustect

    hey guys, im planning a h/c/i on 99 vette M6 and wanting 425rwhp.
    Can you guys that have experience with these ls1 motor please chime in and give what kind of heads, cam and specs and intake{ls6}?,exhaust , other bolt ons i need to run that kind of hp.
    I did research but it seemed there are alot a guys that disagree with certain combos.
    Help me as ive been a mustang guy for 15 years and have turned to a vette now.{12 mustang i have owned in the past}

    also get a used ls6 intake, look in the for sale section.
    you can get any set of heads you like, i just put up the link to the AFRs as they are the best.
    if you have an automatic transmission, you will need a stall conveter(around 3500rpm), shift kit and trans cooler.

    above combo will net you 425 + rear whell horsepower.

    Also consider hardened output shafts for the rear end.

    Nhra, do you know of anyone personally that's ran that cam on an auto? That seems pretty large for an a4.

    i dont know anybody with an A4 and that cam, but i do know guys running bigger cams with an auto.
    its only 4 degrees bigger than a 224 cam and tuning nowadays makes it totally streetable.

    i was going to get that cam, but i would need a 3500 rpm stall to take full advantage of it and didnt want to shell out the money for a new stall.

    I see that now, somehow I missed it the first time through. AFR's and a torquer v2 will make that power. There are a few different combo's I see make that power or more.

    it should make more than 425.
    ive seen 224 cammed cars make 420 with AFR heads.

    +1 I would think that setup would make around 450rwhp with M6 car. Hope the ole rear end holds up.
