    Help lifter noise

    i just got a 01 z28 ls1 a4 2.73 mods are a dynomax bullet catback, k&n drop in and a diablo tuner on a cold start up it seems to make alot of lifter noise until it warms up is this common on these cars?

    Yes, you should hear one in a truck! LOL They are somewhat loud that's why I use 10w30 mobil1 to help keep the noise down. Mine even got louder with the Patriot heads and dual springs but once warm it will quiten up.
