    help with cam install please

    so i installed the cam .. the dot on the cam gear is perfectly aligned with the dot on the crank gear.. do the pistons have to be in any certain position or it doesnt matter just as long as the dots line up.. thanx in advance

    I did it dot to dot and was fine. Ideally you want to degree it but most people just do the dot to dot install.

    dot to dot will be fine, the most the cam will be off on degree side of things is either +/- 1 degree.

    I lined mine up dot to dot and had no problems. Roll the motor over by hand 3 or 4 times just to make sure everything is ok.

    Yea, dot to dot is ok.

    Degreeing it will get you dead fucking nuts accurate, and it kinda makes you feel good for some strange reason. Glad to hear it all went well.
