    Heads question

I am trying research some information on heads.
As some of you guys might know I am going to be selling my car soon and im either going to get a cobra or a possible GT, or a lower miled LT1 or maybe step up to an LS1.
Ok back to the point, I do want to cam my car (if I dont get a cobra) and I am thinking if I am going to cam the car might as well do the heads too but heads are usually expensive but I can get a pretty good deal to get them ported 30 over. My question is what is the advantages of getting aftermarket heads or getting it bored 30 over. and is there any changes I need to do such as get bigger pistons or anything like that? Thanks in advance.

why spend money modding a car you're going to sell? save the money and get an LS1 F-body. don't get a Ford. Only get one if it's a terminator.

you can get your heads ported and upgrade the valve train and that would make a difference
if you added a cam to the combo your looking at close to 100 hp or maybe more
if you bore your block over 30 you will need a new rotating assembly as well
or at least new piston s depending on the set up,i think you can bore it 30 keep the same crank and rods get new pistons and you will have a 355ci set up
but if you go as far as boring the block you might as well at least port the heads while your in there
