Heads and Cam on LS1
I'm shopping for heads and a good cam for my 00 Camaro. I know pretty much what I want to do to the stock block as far as mods... I'm looking for it to be a good track car with the possibility of squeezing a 75-100 shot of Nitrous. I've been looking at Texas Speed & Performance's Magic Stick 4 Cam and AFR Head combo but I've heard that this isn't the best cam for nitrous because of the huge overlap... here are the specs:
Magic Stick V.4 239/242, .649"/.609" Camshaft With Your Choice of Lobe Seperation (111 LSA Standard)
here's what I have:
Ls1
6 speed
Centerforce clutch
planning to put in 4:11 posi, FAST LSx Intake and Throttle Body, SLP lid, and full SLP exhaust including long tube headers
What would any of you recommend for my app?

well i knows theres people out there with personal experience and good and bad responses everywhere. I've also been lookin into the ms4 but i called texas speed talked to a nice guy who had the ms3 and picked at him for a bit. I'm lookin to run a 150 shot and he assured me the ms4 was a good cam and would run with nitrous just fine. He had a 125 shot on his ms3 and he loved it. The ms4 is pretty new and has a much better low end tq gain than ms3. Have u called texas speed and talked with them?
