    heads/cam/intake

well within a year i HOPE to be doing this, its not my daily driver so im wanting an MS3. Im thinking the tsp package with stage 2.5 ls6 heads, 112lsa, 1.45 hardened push rods, ls2 chain, ls6 ported oil pump. Then hopefully have enough to have a fast 102 inatake throttle body and bigger injectors. my main question is what ratio rockers should i go with that would be safe? thanks for any suggestions, clint.

That should definitely be a strong runner. I have also considered swapping out my MS3 cam.

You don't need to replace the rockers. Your better off buying a high lift cam opposed to increasing your lift with different rocker arms.

I figured id get some roller rockers while im in there and i was asking what ratio rockers cuz i dont want to damage anything with going with that big of a cam and then getting too much or a rocker arm. Im gonna do cam for sure but wanting to know if there was a formula i can do to figure it out. Also what size injectors would be good?

Most cams for the ls1 I have seen require 1.7 rockers ( that is the stock ratio I think). For most the use of 1.8s aren't recommended.

thats what ive been told, if doing a cam, use the 1.7

The stock rockers are stout pieces straight from the factory. Im running the ms3 with stock 241 heads and I couldn't be happier with it.

dont wanna use RR on the ms3 cam. It will put your exhaust lift to high and kill your PTV clearence and may require flycutting.

I would stick with stock ratio, just because your going to a much higher lift. Stock size is I believe 1.7. You can still replace them to a more robust rockets to ensure durability with jesen being the most expensive. But they are worth the money.
