heads, cam combo
Hey, I am trying to build a 550-650rwhp naturally. No power address! The car was purchased already dyno'd at 400rwhp. I plan on starting fresh with the bottom end. Total rebuild, all forged pieces, 4.000" crank to achieve a 382ci beast. I would like some ideas of what cam/head combo's that have the capability to achieve this goal. Oh yeah, I would like for it to be very streetable.

I think more than 550whp is ambitious on a NA streetable small bore LS. The you won't get a huge peak HP increase over a same cammed/heads/intake 346 but it will push the torque band lower and tame a big cam. With aftermarket small bore 215-225ish AFR/TFS/TSP heads, low-mid 240 duration @ .050", FAST102, and a good tune should be good for mid/high 120's and 10's if you can hook.

550-650 is a huge goal for a small bore ls. I really cant give you a heads and cam combo for this other that say you would def need to have all custom grind and port work to match. However i would say I have seen a few N/A car make 5xx with a 6.0l/408 with a set of l92's and a custom cam. (built of course) Just saying that is some major goals for a small bore. I am subscribed.. Good luck
