    Head gaskets

    What should the factory 2002 head gaskets look like from the outside of the engine. I just bought a 02 formula and think the cam,lifters and oil pump may have been changed. The head gasket looks like it my be metal, at the bottom outside corner of the head a a small portion of the gasket sticks out with a small hole in it. It looks like metal not the composte factory gasket my older ls1 had on it. Thanks

    stock my 04 goat had MLS metal head gaskets.
