    Head/Cam Suggestions for Stock 98 LS1?

Hey everyone! By the end of the summer i will have 3000 dollars to spend, and i would like to do a head and cam swap on my 98 Z28 M6. It has 138k miles and no engine mods besides a lid. I really would like a heads and cam combo that would yield between 400 and 450 rwhp. Do anyone have an idea on what i should get? I know absolutely nothing about it, so feel free to spill all the info and suggestions you can haha. The car will be used for DD and autocross.

vengeance racing kits uses trick flow 220cc cast heads,$1700.it is their own special kit, with better parts than the kit from TFS.the ratings for the TFS kit you see in summit is flywheel power.

138k is a lot of miles to put a set of expensive heads on. I think you can make that power with a cam kit by its self. Save the rest for a short block or

TSP PRC LS6 Stage 1 heads and a TSP TV2 were my first mods on my ride. It ran a respectable 12.01 and was a great street setup also.

I agree with squirl. 138k is alot of miles either way you slice it. Get some longtubes a 3" y and a good exhaust followed by 3.73 or 4.10 and you will be good for awile. Then save the money for a ls6 long block. I have seen them go for $2500.

And a asa cam. It will work with the ls6 heads and springs. Saves money and produces reliable rwhp.
