Head/Cam Suggestions for Stock 98 LS1?
Hey everyone! By the end of the summer i will have 3000 dollars to spend, and i would like to do a head and cam swap on my 98 Z28 M6. It has 138k miles and no engine mods besides a lid. I really would like a heads and cam combo that would yield between 400 and 450 rwhp. Do anyone have an idea on what i should get? I know absolutely nothing about it, so feel free to spill all the info and suggestions you can haha. The car will be used for DD and autocross.

I agree with squirl. 138k is alot of miles either way you slice it. Get some longtubes a 3" y and a good exhaust followed by 3.73 or 4.10 and you will be good for awile. Then save the money for a ls6 long block. I have seen them go for $2500.

And a asa cam. It will work with the ls6 heads and springs. Saves money and produces reliable rwhp.

I know of people doing heads and cam well after 100k no problems.
Badass2000ss has the trickflow 515 ask him some questions.
I know hi-po made some threads for info on cams you should look for in the internal sticky
