Had a Question about changing the heads on my 98 Z28 camaro
I have a set of aluminum 241 casting ls1 gen III gm small block cylinder heads that i got givin to me by a friend in a trade. I was wondering if they would be worth the power gain to put them on.
They have a 4 angle race valve job, valves have a 32 degree backcut on them, valve job has been hand blended and bowls/venturis have been opened up, the valves are freshly reground on the faces and tips and valve stems have been micropolished, they have also been milled .060" which removed about 9cc of combustion chamber volume which puts them around 58cc combustion chambers... This is the max you can mill without messing up intake manifold fitiment so if you bolted these on an otherwise stock ls1 engine the intake manifold and everything will still fit perfectly. The heads are about 30cfm better than stock so they're as good as a stock 243 casting ls6 head... They are also assembled with yellow ls6 valve springs.

Yes it will make a difference. Pending what mods you have you will see a decent gain.
