Need way more info than that. What are your plans with the car? (Daily driver, street/strip, strip only) Are you on a budget? What mods do you have and plan on getting? What suspension upgrades do you have? There is a little more than just picking a H&C package out of thin air.

Supply us with the info asked and we can narrow it down a little for you, But you will need all the basic bolt ons to make a cam work correctly. (Long tube headers, Lid, Aftermarket catback, at least a LS6 intake manifold, A higher stall for an auto, and at least 3.73 rearend gears for an auto or 4.10's for a 6-speed))
2000 SS Camaro Heads, Large cam, Fast 90, 9"w/430's and locker, yada yada yada... you get the picture

To get new h/c your gonna be looking at around 2k for everything. You can find some used patriot heads for around 600 if you look around parts for sale forums on here and LS1tech. But with new heads and cam your gonna want at least an LS6 intake and headers which will run you another 1000. You can find stuff used and can get good deals, but you'll still be looking at over 2-2500 for everything and that's for the cheaper parts.
When it comes to these cars, there's no such thing as a cheap build up. You wanna play, you gotta pay.
Patriot and Livernois make good heads for the buck. Thunder Racing and TSP have good cams for the dollar.

You will need some Long tube headers, and I would suggest a Texas speed cam only. Get a 228R. Very good cam for a street daily driver car with an awesome powerband. But don't forget when you change a cam you also need to change your Valve springs, Need new hardened pushrods and I would suggest a new ported and shimed LS6 oil pump and new ls2 timeing chain.

I would suggest this package http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=175&catid=49

With being on a budget, a cam only might be your best bet, and you can add heads later on down the road. Also pick up a used LS6 manifold and you will be plesantly surprised how much your car will come alive.

You are looking at about $700-$1000 to install a cam and have your car dyno tuned. Less if you do the install yourself.

I'll go agead and second the cam only idea. That TSP cam kit ^^ is the way to go. Like was said before, gonna need headers and you'll want an LS6 intake.
