H/C on M6 or A4?
i have a set of stage three patriot heads, and a 581/224 cam.
my question to you guys is...would it be better to further rape my TA's motor and put all this work into it and worry about the auto blowin on me. or should i trade my dad cars and take his M6 camaro. your inputs on this would be greatly appreciated.
thanks in advance!

If you plan on building a strip monster I would go with the a4 and build it up after it breaks. But I love my m6 and the highway gas mileage it gets and how fun it is to drive.

I mainly race the streets not the strip most of the races are from a roll but I do enjoy just punching it and the tranny doing the work for me lol so I guess..which would be better for street racing

I'd choose the Camaro if it were me...Of course your TA is newer and they just look so bad ass...Its personal preference really. In my opinion a M6 is the only way to go though.

if only the M6 was in the TA...i love my bird. but the whole reason I traded my old ar in as to find a manual gto ta or camaro. me and the ta have some memories though lol, but the camaro just seems like the right car to turn into a street monster

If you're looking for performance on the streets, my preference would be a M6 (they're a blast from a roll)!! If I were looking to build a track car, I'd take the A4 and build it up after the stock tranny finally gives up on you.

keep the ta man or you will regret it,worth more a little more rare than a camaro and it already looks sweeter in my opinion
although a camaro with an r/s kit and a cowl or an ss body kit does look sweet as hell also

I have an A4 Camaro and love it. Dont get me wrong M6s are fun. But you need to put a few things in mind. Can you drive? The reason people use A4 for the track because with the M6 you got more chances missing gears, which aint good. And that counts for the steet too. A4s you dont have that worry, and there trannys are pretty tough, Ive thrown everything at mine with 80k miles. And knock on wood no problems. Also which do you like better the look of a camaro or a ta. It is personal preference on which you like better. But in my opinion i say build the A4, you cant really go wrong with it.

everyone, thank you for all the advice. the decision was made, by my dad. he still wants a new GTO he said later on in life im going to want my TA more than the camaro. and I will want it be to be safe and reliable when i have kids. because of the above statements(its better looking more rare.) and please no one take this the wrong way lol. but im a pretty good driver with manuals. not saying I don't misshift. ok sorry, long story short he gave me the camaro to mod the crap out of and when there both paid off and he buys a GTO he will give me the ta back..and I can still drive the ta whenever I want (cause I still live at home) im a bum who dint move out after HS
