Yeah, I'll keep you up to date. I tried to get hawk618's balancer install tool today but after emailing him he emailed me back saying he'd bumped the price to $43. That seems pretty expensive for what it is. I'll just go buy a longer crank bolt and put it on that way. I may even round up the thread stock and make my own install tool.
yeah, this stuff is for the formula. I'm hoping to get started on it weekend after next when I get back from my vacation. Not sure how long it'll take me to do all the work but most of it depends on how smooth everything goes and how many trips to the parts store I have to make.

will do, I plan on taking pics at different stages. My past experience trying to do that hasn't worked out to well. I'm normally waaay to busy cussing and throwing shit to snap pics. Maybe I'll put the wife in a hockey mask and have her snap some here and there.

My wife rarely lets my son in the garage with me while I'm working. His vocabulary get's "enhanced" while he's out there.
I still have to round up a few parts before I can do the install. I'm hoping to finish picking everything up next week while I'm on vacation. Right now the valve cover thing is probably bothering me the most. I need to find a passenger center bolt cover that has the rear pcv fitting on it. The ones I bought are for an ls6 and don't have it so I can't cross over the pcv line from the drivers cover to passenger cover. I can work around it I guess but I'd rather it just be plug and play. I'm not interested in going the ls6 pcv route because I don't wanna hack on my block to get the valley cover to fit.
