    F.A.S.T. Injectors??

I'm in the process of building my cammed '98 (TSP 228R). Basically started with a bare block and rotating assembly with pistons. We've cleaned that up and I've got new bearings in, and the cam is ready to be dropped in.

    Upgrades already there:
    Moly pushrods
    LS7 lifters
    TSP upgraded factory roller rockers
    Mahle aluminum flat-top pistons
    Heads are factory 241s
    LS6 intake

Anyway, I'm now looking at what injectors I should put in and was wondering what your experiences are with F.A.S.T, or to see if you guys had other suggestions. This will be a daily driver, too, so I can't really go TOO nuts with the rest of the build. Suggestions??

I'm also in need of ignition for the same car and not sure what to go with there... any help is appreciated!

I've heard good things about both FAST and Siemens injectors.

When researching injectors for my FI built, most of the builders I talked to used Siemens, but FAST were also popular.

Have you calculated what size you need?

According to TSP, 36 lb. injectors are good up to 512 hp, and I have more than stock, but not that much.

Fast injectors seem to be popular, as well as the least expensive it seemed on egay. iirc
Been considering 42.5's myself actually.. I don't know anything about the siemen injectors..

I run FAST 50 lb. injectors...didn't need that big now, but tuner said he could tune them fine with my current mods, plus I wouldn't have to upgrade down the road, so far no issues.

You should be finewith the 98s stock injectors. Thy were rated at 28.5#s. I didn't have to go to bigger injectors until I changed to a FAST intake.

I scored a set of practically-new stock injectors for $50 from someone on Facebook. SCORE!!
