In the future im looking to get a new motor for the car so im trying to figure what would be the best, most efficient way of going. I know you can get an assembled short block from companies such as texas speed and speed inc for about 3,000. But would it be cheaper just getting the block bored and redone, then buy the kit for the lower end, and have put in for cheaper?? Wouldent you be saving some money for the block?? Now w/ the heads... Any ideas of what to go w/?? Im planning on goin w/ a procharger... but im not sure yet on the CI. Could you just get factory heads redone and bored to the size of the aftermarket heads??
