    droped a valve when changing cam

    Ok I am not having a good time now. air pressure dropped and well long story but the valve drop when changing the springs. So Now have to take the head off yay. Um how do you get enjectors out so I can get the rest of the intake off.

    You should be able to take the intake off without pulling injectors

    yeah i believe i used a fuel line quick disconnect tool to separate the fuel line from the rails leaving the injectors in the mani

    If you want to remove the injectors....

    Remove 4 bolts on fuel rail.
    Push in clip with thumb and remove electrical connector.
    Remove clip holding injector to fuel rail.

    You'll get em, took me about 20 minutes to do this the other day.

    BTW, did you turn the engine by hand to see if the valve would come back up?

    if the valve did not completely drop out of the guide ,see if a slim magnet will fit down the valve guide and pull it up. or remove the intake or exhaust manifold,depending on what valve dropped,and use fingers or a small pliers covered with tape to push the valve up.

    Ya, when we were doing a cam change we somehow dropped a valve as well. However, we just rotated the engine and the piston pushed the valve back up and we kept on going.
