doing cam this weekend

Well guys doing my cam this weekend. I got all my stuff to do it. I Got the ms3 cam PAC 1518 springs, harland sharp rockers (1.7), ls2 chain all the gaskets, an push rods. I hope it goes good an hope it runs better. Wish me luck! I keep ya posted

Should be better weather this weekend, I hope. When do you plan on starting it? I have to spend some time with the family, but I can stop out and give you a hand and bring some tools

I'm going to start saturday morning, feel free to stop over when ever. I might need ur pulley. puller, o an the degree wheel for the cam. Hope it goes good

Nah its easy... I'll try and make him a deal, I'll do the cam swap while he does the spring swap

Are you swapping the timing chain? If so what is the new chain?

Nevermind, just reread, is the ls2 chain a double roller?
It a PITA to get the pump bolt out and back in without dropping it in the pan... You will need my magnet to catch it, and if its a wider chain than stock, need to bend the pickup tube to match the new pump postion with the shims.

Also do you have an air compressor?

Single roller and it will work with the LS1 gear.

Hey man nice meeting you tonight, once you get that bolt out and back in in the pickup tube the rest will be cake! If you have any problems get me a call.
When you start taking that bolt out lay the magnet down under/ near it... You will drop it, the key is to catch it lol
