I would really like to save myself some cash and do this swap myself. I have awhile to prepare for this since im stuck in Korea until November. Where should i start in order to prepare myself for this? Any tips and tricks to pass along?

There is a step by step complete write up on the heads cam swap somewhere. When I did my 1st cam, I followed it and it was a snap. The LS1 is probably 1 of the easiest engines to work on IMO. Its probably been 10+ years since then. I have done 4 of them now, and it just gets easier every time. The only real issue is the car itself being a lil hard to work on. You have a GTO which I think has a little bit easier access then the f-body's, so it should be a breeze.

I also used a book that details out step by step of engine building, when I get home from work I'll snap a pic and post it. It helped a lot when building my engine.
Where in Korea?
I might have you bring me back a bottle of Soju..

I'm at Camp Casey right for this rotation. I have to say that soju is inherently evil and has been the cause of me policing up a few of my soldiers lol.
Any write up for the head swap?
