Darton sleeve kit
Anyone seen the Darton sleeve kits cheaper than what Lingenfelter sells them for (1200) just looking at a few options and whether or not to trash my block. After looking up the Darton wet sleeve system my engine can be reused if I go with that setup as the lower portion is still intact and they cut out the part that broke on mine. The head boss area that they keep is still intact with extra meat on mine so I think it would be OK that way. I'd of course get the block checked to make sure there is no additional damage or stresses on the lower portion that does not get cut out. I doubt I'll go that route anyway as I can get a 402/LS2/L92 set up probably cheaper than what it would cost to resleeve/stroke my exhisting one but if it can be resleeved like that I'll save it and maybe build a spare over time.

BLUE- 2000 SS CAMARO
The price of the kit is not what is high, it is the cost of having the sleeves installed that is really high!
