    Daily Driver Cam

I'm having problem picking the right cam for my LS1 daily driven car. I heard people say the higher the number ex. (242/248) the harder it will be to drive on highway traffic. Is this true, because everyone says that 224/224 is the best street cam and still be a good daily driver, but can an bigger cam still be able to do both jobs giving more power and be daily driven.

is your car an automatic or a stick? The 224 is a well proven cam that's great on the street and makes good power. Some of the drivability stuff is subjective. You can daily drive cams much bigger than that but it depends on what you're willing to put up with. I have the 228R in my car with a 3500 stall and if I had to I would daily drive that easily. Actually, my cars manners are very well behaved. My wife drives it without thinking twice ( when I let her ).

I agree with Orion, I also have a 228R on a 112lsa and a 3400stall and it drives great. With a good tune it should not be a problem.

Rule of thumg is anything under 230 is good in a cam only situation.
