silver- 99 formula a4
cracked a piston
this is the result of being forced to run an engine hot after blowing a head gasket.
i need an 5.7/6.0 shortblock or a 5.3 longblock asap.

that's cylinder #3 as i can see the oil filter under the block.

look just under the headbolt hole to the right of the cracked piston.

Well I see that but I still don't know how you can tell, the camera is at a bad angle, and you can only see 2 and a half cylinders.

hang on it's #5. stupid me. the last piston in the picture doesn't have the V water jacket. so that's the last piston. the oil filter is on the driver's side.

I have a complete 5.3l if you need it. It's out of a 04' with less then a 1000 miles on it.
