Correct setup??? Heads Manifold etc etc

Out of the game for a little bit I just wanna make sure the parts I order are OK for my needs. Not looking for max power, just want solid parts within my budget staying under $2000. Mods in sig, cam headers and more than a few things already covered I am in the ballpark for heads, manifold and pully. I was thinking LS6 ported assembled heads, LS6 manifold, and an UD pully, who makes the best UD pulley for our cars?? I remember the gains being in the 6-8 hp range with improved revving in the powerband. LS6 ported heads still a good bargain? Patriot has the for $1249 assembled, BTw whats included when they say assembled? Which pully and do I need just an UD pulley? Also any links to an install guide for heads? I checked installuniversity with no luck......

Assembled basically means they're ready to be bolted on. They have the springs, seats, retainers, valves, valve stems, and valve guides. All you need are the head bolts and your ready to go. GM bolts they offer will be fine. Find an LS6 intake used for around 300 any UD pulley will work fine. Other than material, they're all pretty much the same. If your car is an automatic, I'd recommend going for a higher stall torque converter instead of the UD pulley. My TCI 3500 was about 550 from Speed Inc. If not then stick to the UD pulley. Try LS1howto.com to see if they might have a head install.
2000 Z28: Accufab 4150, Vic Jr. 150 shot, Patriot stg 2 heads, big cam, FLT Stg VI 4L60, S60 rear. Waaay more stuff to list. 3100 LBS.
