    Comp cams 918 valvesprings

    so i just ordered my comp cams 918 beehive valve springs and was wondering if anything... i mean ANYTHING is needed other the just the valve springs to install them on my stock ls1 heads..... thanks

    Are you just replacing springs? Why?



    Valve seals while your in there, maybe Ti retainers, push rods, and have the Speed Inc valve spring tool really... really helps.

    higher rpm so i can run 4th out across the 1320 since i now have 411s and to keep my valves from floating....

    Bill has the valve spring tool you need. we modded one to work better in tight areas. you'll need a way to hold the valves up when you take the springs off, we use a compression tester hose hooked to constant air
    if you want to come up to Mercersburg when you get your springs we can have them in pretty quick.

    It would be nice to find a set of titanium retainers & locks, but will work without.

    Thanks Mark,Bill,beaver,and branden we got the valve springs in and done tonight well i should say today lol its 5am and i need sleep.... peace
