    cheap cam for ls1

    hi all,

i live in Australia, i am just chasing a cheap ls1 cam for my vx ss Commodore.
i don't mind having to import one if i can get it cheaper from America. plus i am sure over there you have a wider range then what we do here in oz.

    any help would be appreciated

    thanks all

Yeah they all pretty much cost the same. Used would be the best deal.

All cams are generally priced the same, unless its a custon grind. Cheapest your looking at is probably a LS6..Can always go used.

Do not buy a used a cam. Its a couple hundred dollar expense vs your time and agrivation. I personally would never trust a used cam in my engine. Ill spend the 400 dollars and not the risk of buying joe blows used cam.

I got my cam and heads from Texas Speed also. The price of the cam was very reasonable.
